Describe yourself with three words.
Cheerful, tenacious, enterprising.
How do you express yourself through your look?
I love colors, but I often dress in black for work. My life is divided between endless appointments in the boutique and elsewhere. Therefore, I must always be prepared for various situations. My favorite color is definitely burgundy, which I chose for the latest version of the Gobbi 1842 logo..
How do you choose a watch for an everyday outfit? And for a special occasion?
I’m very fond of my Rolex Day Date watch in white gold with a cherry red dial and strap. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I choose my everyday outfits to match my watch! I love it because it’s comfortable and represents my dynamic approach to life. Let’s just say that when I saw this truly special object, it was love at first sight.
The spiral is a symbol of the cycle of life, expansion and development: what has been your latest important achievement?
A very important achievement is definitely having designed my Fairytale jewelry line. I strongly believe that fairytales are not just stories: they are a part of everyday life. That’s the reason for its name, but the collection is inspired by the spiral, a symbol that has many meanings for me. The spiral is the perfect mechanism of a watch. It represents my family’s six generations, and it is the graphic interpretation of the DNA spiral, which preserves each person’s genetic inheritance.
To whom would you give a jewel from the Fairytale collection?
My mother. Many things would not have been possible without her.
How has Gobbi helped create an unforgettable moment?
The wonderful thing about my job is being a part of truly special and unforgettable moments in other people’s lives. They come to us to commemorate birthdays, graduations or engagements, which are the most memorable moments of their lives. It’s an honor for us to be a part of it. Each time we are touched by the stories and memories they choose to share with our large family.
A special location in Milan?
The covered farmers’ market on Piazza Wagner that’s full of delicacies impossible to find elsewhere.
Do you prefer Milan in the morning, afternoon or evening?
I prefer late afternoon/evening. At that time of day, the city starts relaxing, leaving behind its frenetic pace. The work day is about to end and you can finally enjoy spending time with friends for an aperitif or dinner or at the theater or cinema.
